Security forces destroy three Naxal bunkers in JaraiKela, recover large cache of Naxal materials

In a joint operation on Friday, Jharkhand Police, the CoBRA 209 Battalion, and the CRPF destroyed three Naxal bunkers during a search operation in the Hendekuli area under JaraiKela police station limits. The operation was conducted in the forested and hilly terrain near the Odisha border.

From the demolished Naxal bunkers, the forces recovered a large quantity of materials, including wires, batteries, green Naxal uniforms, black Naxal uniforms, jungle boots, backpacks, black scarves, steel containers, black plastic sheets, and other daily-use items.

It is worth noting that in the JaraiKela police station area, two personnel of the CoBRA 209 Battalion were injured in the past during an anti-Naxal operation after being hit by an IED planted by the Naxals.
