Dhani Lakshman village in Haryana’s Bhiwani district is getting more complicated with every passing day. The second post-mortem report has now been released, which clearly states that Manisha committed suicide. However, her family refuses to accept this and has even declined to perform her last rites.

What Did the Second Post-Mortem Report Reveal?

The second post-mortem and FSL (Forensic Science Lab) reports from Rohtak PGI revealed that Manisha died due to consumption of poison. Police investigation also found that she had purchased the poison from a fertilizer-seed shop.

  • The report confirmed that her body was partially eaten by animals after death, but there were no traces of chemicals on the body.

How Did the Case Begin?

On 11th August 2025, Manisha suddenly went missing. Two days later, on 13th August, her body was found near a canal. Allegations of negligence were leveled against the police, while her family suspected murder. With the matter escalating, Chief Minister Nayab Saini transferred the SP and suspended five policemen.

Her family and villagers began a protest and refused to cremate the body. On the sixth day, the police showed the viscera report, which clarified that it was a case of suicide and not murder. After this, the family initially agreed for the cremation, but the next morning her father Sanjay again refused.

Tension in the Village and Heavy Police Deployment

Currently, tension prevails in Dhani Lakshman village. Heavy police force has been deployed to prevent any untoward incident. The family and villagers still insist it is a case of murder and are demanding justice.
