Chaibasa Nagar Parishad Issues Public Notice on Meena Bazaar Parking Arrangements

Chaibasa, West Singhbhum (20 August 2025): The office of the Administrator, Nagar Parishad Chaibasa, has issued an important public notice for all city residents regarding the upcoming Meena Bazaar to be organized at Gandhi Maidan, Chaibasa.

Key Details of the Notice

According to the notice, Nagar Parishad has not made any official parking arrangements for vehicles at Gandhi Maidan during Meena Bazaar. Due to the absence of such arrangements, any kind of vehicle parking and the collection of associated fees at the venue is deemed completely unauthorized.

For City Residents:

  • If any resident uses a bicycle, two-wheeler, or four-wheeler to attend Meena Bazaar and is asked to pay for parking, they can lodge a complaint at the Nagar Parishad office or the Sadar Police Station.
  • Similarly, if any person visiting Meena Bazaar is charged an unauthorized parking fee, they too are entitled to file an official complaint with the concerned authorities.

Purpose Behind the Notice

The Chaibasa Nagar Parishad has issued this directive to protect residents and visitors from illegal parking fee collections and unauthorized practices. The administration has clarified that no entity has been granted permission to collect parking fees, and any such act is punishable.
