Ekal Mahila Samiti Sisters Celebrate Raksha Bandhan with CRPF Jawans, Honoring the Nation’s Protectors

Rakhi

On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, the sisters of the Ekal Mahila Samiti visited the brothers of the CRPF camp, carrying rakhis in their hands for the soldier brothers who stand guard to protect the nation. The purpose was to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with them as a mark of respect from their families, to uplift the morale and self-respect of the brothers posted far away from their homes.

Just as a brother always protects his sister, in the same way, these soldiers, stationed at the borders, protect us day and night without concern for their own comfort, allowing us to feel safe in our country. The sisters prayed for the long life and good health of these brothers.

During today’s program, Sanjay Kumar Jha and all the brothers were filled with happiness and excitement, and the sisters happily tied rakhis on their wrists.

The program was attended by Ekal Mahila Samiti President Neetu Sahu, Malti Gilwa, Dippi Kaur, Sushma Sahu, Monika Sahu, Mina Bhageria, Mamta Bhageria, Savita Sahu, Bobby Kasera, Pratibha, Tanuja Shukla, as well as representatives from Ekal Gramothan Resource Centre—Prakash Mahato, Sanjay Singh, Shilpa Mishra, Santosh Mahato, Mukesh Mahato, Haripad Mahato, Akash Pradhan—and all the sisters of the institution.
